While there are various entities set up for liability reasons, the business model is simple, the Company transports by shuttle, bus or van, depending on the type of customer (medical or non-medical), to and from their destination. Most notably, the medical transportation business provides a growing opportunity. Success in the business has been driven by its recurring revenue model, full service transportation needs, extremely low turnover (advantage over c o m p e t i t o r s ) , d e t a i l e d background screening and excellent customer service. Customers & Operations The Company's partners are generally with airports, airlines, universities, assisted living f a c i l i t i e s , h o s p i t a l s , corporations and area prisons. End customers that demand the Company's services would be the typical traveler, patient and general public. The Company performs thousands of trips each month and is generally paid by their contracted drivers (unless internal) as the Company provides administrative services and customer demands to drivers. Most drivers would own their own vehicles with the correct accessibility equipment, but with the Company's decals, or would lease them. Organization & Structure The Company is set up as a Limited Liability Company, and is supported by 58 full-time (including owners) and 19 part- time employees. The employee breakdown includes EMT, paramedic and bus drivers as well as its administrative and mechanic division. The owners do want to pursue o t h e r b u s i n e s s v e n t u r e s unrelated to the industry, but understands the need to stay on for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition. The owner currently spends about a couple hours a day to manage the day to day activity as the current staff in place are well-qualified t o a s s u m e c e r t a i n responsibilities and are trained to have the technical expertise to operate in the owner's absent. Key employees include a g e n e r a l m a n a g e r, h u m a n resource, a CFO, and a shop foreman. Reputation & Competition The Company has a solid reputation in the industry for its safety record as each driver hired is carefully screened and tested to meet all guidelines in the transportation industry. The strong recurring client base and excellent service coupled with contracts with established government entities and medical facilities has enabled the Company to grow and generate significant profits over the years while keeping the competitors such as other taxi drivers, Uber/ Lyft and black car service out of their respective niche. Opportunities for Growth The Company's success has been due to its qualified base of employees and deep knowledge in a targeted customer market. The Company is well-positioned to capture additional growth while concurrently attracting talent to its workforce. Growth includes expanding within the state in other cities. Management cites that there are some development already in place to start in 2019.
