The Company has been certified by the state's Department of Transportation on routine and complex bridge projects. The Company performs routine and fracture critical inspection of in-service bridges around the state and provides structural analysis of bridges for load rating recommendations and special permits, analysis of bridges for vulnerability to scour, data collection for bridge management systems, structural design of bridges and buildings, foundation design, and structural forensic investigations. The FHWA (Federal Highway Administration) requires that all bridges be routinely inspected on a two-year minimum cycle. All of the Company's inspectors have completed the NHI 2-week safety inspection course given by FHWA. Some have also completed special training in fracture critical inspection and data collection.
